President’s Message
Dear Fellow Alumni Friends, Greetings to all. As you are all aware, last year our alumni celebrated the 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee). Our Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, joined us to witness the celebration. What an amazing 25-year journey it has been in Singapore!
I am indeed honored to serve and thank you all for electing me as the President of our alumni association for this significant 14th Term (2025-2026). My new committee members and I will strive to make a difference and aim to build strong bonds while exhibiting professionalism in strengthening our organization.
I believe this is the first time we have a mixed representation in the committee, which includes members from all departments – Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy, and Computer Science – and various age groups, ranging from the 1980 to 2005 batches. We also have four advisors from the Engineering, Tamil, and Management faculties.
We aspire to fly high together with increased harmony, understanding, and bonding among our members and families. We have ideas for fostering creative awareness and stronger bonds among members, entrepreneurs, and working professionals. The committee also aims to give back to society through “Community Services” in collaboration with stakeholders such as the People’s Association and SINDA.
We are planning continued professional education in collaboration with IES, sustainable job support, knowledge-sharing sessions, and ongoing education initiatives. In addition, we aim to focus on family bonding, youth, and women’s development – and much more.
We are committed to bringing activities to you and your family. We humbly seek your support and motivation for all our selfless volunteer committee members in every aspect and every step of our journey. Rest assured, we will always put the association’s interests first, above all.
Looking forward to your full support to take the AAA flag to greater heights!
Proud to be an Annamalaian-Perumal Moorthy, BE., ME(NUS), PBM
