ABOUT ASSOCIATION

Annamalai University was established in 1929 at Tamilnadu, India with 7 departments and developed in to a famed institution of higher learning with about 50 departments under 10 faculties including Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Arts & Science. Now this university with 3240 teaching staff is sitting elegantly on thousand acres of land. The University has been playing a pivotal role in imparting quality education to hundreds of thousands of youth and known for producing eminent scholars, engineers, doctors, professionals, bureaucrats and politicians.

Annamalai University Alumni Association (Singapore Chapter) is an officially registered society with Registrar of Societies, Singapore. The Singapore Chapter has a history of 20 years since the registration. More than 750 alumni are living in Singapore with their families and 250 of them have registered as Life Members with the association as on date. Many of the members hold prominent positions in the Industry and Business sectors. Several of them are successful entrepreneurs.

The association plays active roles in professional development, community, family and cultural activities. It regularly conducts talks, seminars, forums and networking sessions to enrich the knowledge of the members and network among the peers. It contributes to the local community development by working with various community organizations and organizing events.

Annamalai University Alumni Association (Singapore Chapter) continues to grow with greater momentum focusing on contributing to Singapore covering professional development, knowledge impact, economic growth, social welfare and community involvement.
